Yeah, the cool thing was that you can make it transparent, so if you've got downtime during the game...you could easily have this up in the corner, you could be checking Thoughtbot, you could be checking WoWHead, or whatever...reading up on what loot is the next boss you're going to kill, what is he gonna drop...
GotGame Releases In-Game Web Browser
by Chris Iaquinta on November 20, 2008
For most users, the hard truth is that they are still technological and social hurdles they must contend with and have little control over, and the fact is that PC gamers spend approx 1/4th of their time in a game either waiting for the game sections to load or for friends/guild members to login. To kill the boredom these players normally have to pull out of the game and return to their desktop in order to surf the web or perform other functions while waiting for their load tasks to complete, thus removing them from the gaming world. But, a new program from in-game content provider GotGame aims to blend the two worlds for a seamless playing experience.
In-Game Browser Offers 25 Percent More Avoidance of Real World
by Owen Good on November 23, 2008
For those grinding for experience or performing other mundane MMO tasks, I can see where this browser could be helpful. And MMO playing and web surfing are two great tastes that go great together for the Internet/game addicted. Rogue also allows you to set the transparency of the browser so it overlays your game, when you're in situations where you can deal with that kind of distraction.

MMOs get an in-game web browser: GotGame's Rogue
by Samuel Axon on November 24, 20088
Let's say that, like most folks, you only have one monitor. Let's also assume that you either prefer to enjoy games in all their full-screen glory, or your one monitor doesn't run at a resolution high enough to make multitasking while running a game in a window practical -- also probably true of most folks. But you're playing World of Warcraft and you want to check Thottbot, or your e-mail. Well, very-specific-user, GotGame has a solution for you...

Meet Rogue: The First In-Game Web Browser
by D'Juan on November 21, 2008
"Screw you, Alt+Tab!" That's not my personal feelings about the keyboard shortcut, but if you're a big MMO gamer, or a gamer who does a lot of waiting and web surfing during your PC games, this one's for you.

Now you can check on your eBay bids while your teammates defuse the bomb, check tomorrow's weather while planning Gordon Freeman's next move, or even look up those stats/codes/FAQs that will get you through the level you're in. No alt-tabbing, extra monitors or nearby laptops necessary. For MMO fans its usefulness is obvious (they may finally be able to catch up on those e-mails from family/friends wanting to get back in touch).

Persze akármilyen más weboldal is böngészhető vele.
